Farcaster Season 1 & 2 Recap 🎬

The Farcaster Season 3 conversation is here.

There’s a lot of discussion around what comes next, and perhaps a number of people who are trying to understand: wait… what happened in Seasons 1 and 2?

Create a short, engaging “Previously on Farcaster…” recap video that gets someone who missed the early days up to speed.

The goal

Tell the story of Farcaster Seasons 1 & 2 — the important moments, people, projects, memes, controversies, milestones, and cultural shifts that shaped the ecosystem.

It should feel less like a Wikipedia entry and more like the opening recap of a TV show before Season 3.

Requirements

• Cover the major events and turning points from Seasons 1 & 2
• Give enough context for someone relatively new to Farcaster to understand what happened
• Be entertaining and easy to follow
• Video format suitable for sharing on Farcaster/X
• Strong storytelling matters more than an exact runtime
• Creative format is completely open: documentary, animation, comedy, news recap, montage, etc.

Bonus points

• Great use of old casts, screenshots, memes, clips, and other Farcaster artifacts
• Captures the culture of Farcaster, not just the chronology
• Makes longtime Farcaster users say, “Oh shit, I remember that.”
• Ends with the obvious question: “So… what happens in Season 3?”

If nothing meets the bar by the deadline, there is no obligation to award the bounty.
